Majed
"I used to work as a daily wage laborer. However, one day I fell from the top of a two-story building where I was working. Some trees broke my fall, but a cement block fell from the top of the building, too, and landed on the lower part of my spinal column, fracturing two of my vertebrae. Thankfully, the doctors told me that my spinal cord was not affected, but I am still bedridden and unable to move at present. When I saw my family going hungry, I cried and prayed to God, for healing and help in the face of these hardships and the cruelty of life. Then, a representative from Raeduun came to visit me and promised to visit again. True to their word, they came back with a food and hygiene basket for our household. The team embraced me as my tears flowed in gratitude for this answered prayer. I am immensely thankful to God, Raeduun, and all of the organization’s supporters and staff for their acts of kindness."
