Abdo’s spinal cord injury has left him unable to work as he lives in protracted displacement with his nine children—six of whom have special needs. RSD’s food distributions contribute to the household’s future resourcefulness by supporting Abdo’s children to stay in school now, so they have better economic opportunities as adults.
